The Ancient Insignia in WoW: Shadowlands is one of the items given to players once they open the Great Vault in Oribos.

Shadowlands, World of Warcraft's most recent expansion, is filled with treasures, side quests, and unique rewards aimed at encouraging players to explore the territories around them. While adventuring through the realms of the dead may seem daunting to some, those brave enough to set out will find several boons along the way—especially after completing their main quest goals in Torghast.

The Ancient Insignia is one of the items involved with the Great Vault in the Hall of Holding located in Oribos. Specifically, it's part of the loot, and can be handed over to Bar'vol once players are done making their selection from the chest for some extra experience and gold. The insignia is basically just a signal to Bar'vol—and, likely, the game, itself—that the weekly boon has been claimed and the Vault must be resealed until later.

In order to open the Great Vault and get the Ancient Insignia, however, players will have to complete one of the requirements listed that week. Fortunately, they aren't very challenging and can be knocked down easily with some help from friends, guildmates, or equally eager Azerothians.

Be warned that players won't be able to claim any pieces from the Vault until after the weekly reset.
