What Time Does The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD Release?

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD unlock time has come! The title is now available and fans can purchase and begin playing as they please.

According to Nintendo's tweet, it appears The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD officially went live at 6 a.m. PT.

Originally leaked in Feb. 2021 just hours before its reveal, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD gives players the opportunity to experience the earliest story in the Legend of Zelda series on the Nintendo Switch.

Aside from a sheer touch-up job in the graphics department, Nintendo says it has made the motion controls smoother and more intuitive in this HD remake, mapping the sword to the right Joycon and the shield to the left Joycon to invite players to master "realistic" swordplay that corresponds to their movements.

Players will also be able to opt out of the motion controls altogether.

Instead, they'll be able to use the right control stick to wield their sword, using directional slices to mimic the motion controls.
