We've explained when and how players can open presents in Fortnite.
Fortnite Winterfest 2021 is well underway, bringing holiday cheer, special features, and—of course—rewards. Fans who logged-in to the game consistently could take advantage of Sgt. Winter's generosity by collecting a new gift every day of Winterfest. These have included skins, gliders, harvesting tools, and more. Below, we've explained how to get these gifts and when they can be opened.
When Can You Open Presents in Fortnite?
New presents will unlock every day of Winterfest. You can each newly unlocked present once a day in Fortnite for every day the winter seasonal event is live. For those unaware, Winterfest 2021 kicked off on Thursday, Dec. 16, and will run through to Jan. 6, 2022, at 9 a.m. ET (6 a.m. PT)—that's two full weeks of gifts.
Players who are just tuning into the event need not worry about missing out, however. Any missed gifts can be redeemed at any time before the event is over.
Presents can be found in the Winterfest Lodge and can be unwrapped by interacting with Sgt. Winter as he sits cozily by a smoldering fire. As stated above, there are 14 gifts in total:
- "Krisabelle" Skin
- "You Better Watch Out" Loading Screen

- "Auroral Arc" Glider Trail
