When does Fortnite Season 12 start? Epic Games announced major changes to the Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2 release across all platforms. Until recently, players were expecting the new season to be available by the early December. Although, with the extension of Season 1, here is everything we could be expecting in the future.

When Does Fortnite Season 12 Start?

There was no specific date set up prior to the expected Dec. 12 end date for the season. Although, Epic Games has confirmed they have changed their dates in which the game's newest season will begin.

With the launch of Fortnite Season 12 probably in February, we could expect the launch of the new season around then. Epic Games is expecting many new features to the game which would explain the extension to the release date. Also with the holidays around the corner and 14 days of Fortnite coming up soon, it makes sense to push back the release of the season.

This extension was massive which means there is a lot to expect when Season 12 becomes available.
