Chapter 2 Season 5 of Fortnite has lasted for nearly 13 weeks, which is longer than the average time of 10 weeks for a chapter to usually last. Because of delays occurring more often over the last few months than usual, this has become a common occurrence with Fortnite and Epic Games.

This season is coming to a close soon though, with Epic Games announcing that the current battle pass will be ending in March, which means a new season is just around the corner.

When Will Season 5 End Exactly?

The current season of Fortnite is scheduled to end on Monday, March 15, 2021, meaning that this season will have lasted around 15 weeks. Ending and starting a season on a Monday isn't common, so we may see the conclusion of Season 5 pushed back a few days. With Season 6, we haven't gotten much word from Epic Games on what to expect. Season 5's plot revolved around closing the Zero Point, so we are unaware of what that will mean for the next Season.

A reminder to make sure you have your 950 V-Bucks handy to purchase the battle pass for Season 6, so you do not miss out on everything that becomes available on day one.
