When does LEC start in 2022? The League of Legends European Championship will start on Jan. 14, 2022 and will feature two Superweeks again. The LEC 2022 spring season Superweeks will highlight three days of back-to-back games. After the kick-off games, on Mar. 25, 2022, the spring playoffs will lead into the LEC spring finals from Apr. 9-10, 2022.

The ten LEC teams are as listed: Team BDS, who will be taking over FC Schalke 04's slot, Astralis, Excel, Fnatic, G2 Esports, MAD Lions, Misfits Gaming, Rogue, SK Gaming, and Team Vitality.
