When Does the New Warzone Season Start?

All Call of Duty fans have been excited about the release of the Black Ops Cold War Season One trailer, but what does that mean for the next season of Warzone?

The release date of Season 1 across the new Black Ops Cold War is scheduled for Dec. 16. Season 1, "is the largest free content drop in Black Ops history," according to CallofDuty.com.

When Does the New Warzone Season Start?

It's not clear there will actually be a new season of Warzone, but the Battle Royale is expected to expand past Verdansk as players should be prepared to drop into a new Warzone map and mode on Dec. 16. There will be more than 30 Black Ops Cold war based weapons and blueprints.

Warzone players also have to look forward to a unique Gulag experience in the major content drop.

The original release date was Dec. 10, however, the developers delayed that about a week to finalize some of the details in the games.

The cinematic trailer released on Dec. 7 added to the hype and hopefully the content can live up to the expectations.
