The Warzone 2 Season 5 launch was the most highly anticipated Warzone 2 season in 2023; with the reveal of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 in the Shadow Siege Event, players, professionals, and content creators all had their eyes on Warzone 2. The event debuted the Modern Warfare 3 trailer and even introduced the M13C to Warzone.
Now, Warzone 2 is preparing for its next major update. Activision posted the Warzone 2 Season 5 Reloaded roadmap and revealed all the new Operators, weapons, and maps coming in the midseason update.

When Does Warzone 2 Season 5 Reloaded go Live?
Warzone 2 Season 5 Reloaded goes live on Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2023, at 12 p.m. ET. Fans are usually able to pre-load the update a few hours before it drops so they can hop right on come release time. Warzone 2 Season 5 Reloaded will be available on all platforms worldwide tomorrow.
Warzone 2 Season 5 Reloaded: What We Know So Far
Warzone 2 Season 5 Reloaded is bringing a new Resurgence experience to Warzone. Along with Ashika Island and Vondel, fans will now be able to play the fan-favorite mode on Al Bagra Fortress. The map will be in a separate playlist from the other two Resurgence options.
The new update will also feature the return of Armored Royale from the original Warzone. Squads will be assigned to a MRAP vehicle, and as long as they retain control of their vehicle, they will be able to redeploy. The mode is only available for Quads.
As fans explore everything Warzone 2 Season 5 Reloaded has to offer, they can work toward unlocking three new weapons from the limited-time Battle Pass sector, E0. The new weapons coming are a Pickaxe Melee, 9mm Daemon Pistol, and Lachmann Shroud. Players will only have access to Sector E0 if they complete Sector E2 or participated in the Faction Showdown Event.
