World's End Club, a much-anticipated game, is finally set to release on the Nintendo Switch. The action-adventure platformer will be released by IzanagiGames, a Japanese company. The publisher released Death Come True, an interactive film adventure game, in June of 2020. In addition to World's End Club, they are planning on publishing another title, Yurukill: The Calumniation Games, later this year.
World's End Club comes from game writers Kotaro Uchikoshi and Kazutaka Kodaka. Uchikoshi has worked on games such as Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward and Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors. On the other hand, Kodaka is renowned for PS2 release, Clock Tower 3, and several titles from the Danganronpa series.
When Does World's End Club Release on the Switch?
Nintendo announced on Nintendo Direct that World's End Club will arrive on the Switch on May 28. It is set to release exclusively on the Switch and supports TV, tabletop, and handheld mode. The game is a single-player adventure that includes platformer mechanics.
On their website, Nintendo describes World's End Club as a "charming and vivid story of friendship and mystery will captivate new and experienced players alike." The game revolves around "a group of misfit students from all over Japan" that "find themselves trapped in a strange theme park during a class trip." There are a total of 11 protagonists who make up the "Go-Getters Club". With this upcoming release, in addition to many others, Nintendo fans have a lot to look forward to in the coming months.
