With the dropped release of the much-anticipated The Queen Expansion by Bungie, players have been wondering when Destiny 2's 30th Anniversary Event will take place to fill in the gap. The Queen Expansion is scheduled to release on Feb. 22 of 2022, so there are still several months before players can expect to see more of the revealed massive Savathun.

Fans who are looking to pre-order the Anniversary Pack that will be available for purchase in the 30th Anniversary Event need to look no further, as Bungie has released both a date and price for the purchase. Players can expect the event to go live on Dec. 7, 2021 and can expect a wide array of event-related content and cosmetics available for free and for purchase.

Some of the paid content from the pack includes new skins, access to a new pirate-themed dungeon, and emotes. When completing the dungeon, players also have the chance at a lucky drop of the legendary weapon, Gjallarhorn, that is one of the most memorable weapons from Destiny 1. As such, the Fall release date for the Anniversary event leaves plenty for players to be excited about.
