When is Spider-Man Skin Coming to Fortnite?

There’s been a leak circulating around the internet about another of Marvel Comic’s greatest superheroes joining the fight in Fortnite: the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man himself! If the leak is true, when is Spider-Man coming to Fortnite?

Fortnite and Marvel have quite the relationship, as many of Marvel’s heroes have found their way onto the Island to join the fight. Players have also taken to their inclusion quite well, leaving many clamoring for their favorite hero to be added next. Spiderman is, without a doubt, one of the most iconic heroes in pop culture, so when is he coming in?

When is Spider-Man Skin Coming to Fortnite?

According to popular Fortnite leaker HYPEX (@HYPEX), there have been files added to the game that suggest the web-slinger’s arrival onto the island. In the Twitter post, they outline an item codenamed “WestSausage” that they speculate to stand for “Web Slinger.” It would be an item a player could pick up and use to swing all over the island a-la-Spiderman style. Of course, even if the leak is true, nobody has any idea when he would release. 

Now, the possibility of Spider-Man’s arrival in Fortnite isn’t an impossible one. Marvel Comics has allowed for a wide variety of their characters to be placed into Fortnite, even going as far as to dedicate the entirety of Chapter 2, Season 4’s Battle Pass to Marvel heroes. Fortnite has even gone as far as to add an in-game event featuring Galactus, one of Marvel’s biggest baddies.

Of course, as with every leak, it’s t be taken with a grain of salt. A leak has the potential to be real just as it has the potential to be false. Though with the recent slew of leaks turning out to be legitimate, news of the friendly neighborhood hero himself getting into Fortnite may not be so far off after all.
