Fortnite’s Chapter 2, Season 7 is now drawing to a close, and players are excited about the newly-unveiled “Operation: Sky Fire” event that’s to serve as the season’s finale. Similar to the previous season’s opening event, players will be able to take part in this interactive event and probably shape it’s outcome, so it’s all hands on deck for this one. So, when is the live event in Fortnite’s Chapter 2, Season 7?

This Season focuses on the struggle between the Imagined Order and The Invasion, and the Island is caught in the middle of it. With high-tech weapons scattered around the map, alien abductions, and UFOs constantly circling around locations, players have experienced a rollercoaster of a season. “Operation: Sky Fire” will see The Invasion target the IO Headquarters, and Dr. Slone will deploy a secret plan as their last stand, aided by the denizens of the Island.

When is the Live Event in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7?

This live event has been scheduled to begin on Sept. 12 at 4 p.m. ET. Similar to past live events, it’s advised for players to log in around 5 minutes before the event begins so their attendance is guaranteed.

It’s been confirmed that players will actually get to take part of this event with unique gameplay, unlike past events that simply had players watch the event unfold. It’s very likely that they will take up arms alongside the IO and engage in a final assault against the alien menace, so players should look forward to participating. It’s looking to be an exciting event.

“Operation: Sky Fire” will occur on Sept. 12 at 4 p.m. ET, which is also when Season 7 will end.
