The 2021 League of Legends World Championship is roaring on as the semifinals come around the corner. The quarterfinals featured an exciting set of games beginning Friday, Oct. 22 and ran to Monday, Oct. 25. With the top four teams now decided, when is the League of Legends Worlds 2021 semifinals?

The first set of semifinal games will begin on Saturday, Oct. 30 at 8:00 a.m. ET. Many fans consider these two teams, DWG KIA and T1, as the strongest in the whole tournament. This makes this matchup a sort of premature finals in the semifinals. The next day, Gen.G will play Edward Gaming at the same time to determine if the finals will include a team from the LPL or two LCK teams. A lot of pressure is on EDG to represent their region to the end.

There are a lot of things to look at coming into these games. T1 dominated Hanwha Life Esports in a 3-0 fashion while DWG cleanly took down MAD Lions as well.

Both teams are undefeated in playoffs so far, meaning a lot is on the line in this matchup. Each team wants to bring home the crown for Korea, but DWG is looking to defend their championship title as the winners of Worlds 2020.

Of course on the other side is Faker who is finally back in form and is looking to claim another World Championship to prove that he is not only the greatest of all time, but currently the sitting greatest player.
