We've answered when players can expect the Last Hours of Verdansk event to start in Warzone.
Call of Duty (COD) Warzone is entering a new era before the end of 2021. Like any passing of the torch, the next season of Activision's multiplayer competitive military shooter will be doing out with the old and in with the new—maps, that is. Players will be able to enjoy the literal "Last Hours of Verdansk" in an ending event meant to bring a fitting conclusion to the game's first (and, for quite some time, only) map.
When is the Warzone Last Hours of Verdansk event?
The Warzone Last Hours of Verdansk event will kick off on Nov. 30/Dec. 1, depending on the player's region. The exact timing has yet to be revealed. However, some sources have begun to speculate the programming will go live in the afternoon or early evening.
It will directly follow the Secrets of the Pacific event which starts on Nov. 24. According to a blog post published by the Warzone developers, Last Hours of Verdansk is meant to be a "spectacular" ending to the map.
"We have yet to get declassified information on this Beenox-developed event, except for this: expect a spectacular and fitting end to your time in Verdansk as we say farewell to the Kastovian city… forever?" They wrote.
Last Hours of Verdansk is meant to be just that—the last hours players will have to play on the Verdansk map as they know it. DBLTAP cannot confirm exactly what will come next for Verdansk or Warzone aside from the release of the "Pacific" Caldera map.
