Xerneas is a Fairy-type Legendary Pokémon that will be debuting soon in Pokémon GO. Other rare and Legendary Pokémon such as Mewtwo and Raquaza have appeared in Pokémon GO in the past, but fans are wondering when they can catch this Legendary Pokémon from Gen 6.
Xerneas will debut at Pokémon GO's Luminous Legends X event, which will start May 4 at 10 a.m. and end on May 17 at 8 p.m. local time.
When is Xerneas Coming to Pokémon GO?
This Legendary Pokémon is a Tier 5 raid boss and will debut as the first Fairy-Type Legendary Pokémon in Pokémon GO. Xerneas's Fairy moves are enhanced by cloudy weather. When catching this Pokémon, it is recommended to have five to seven trainers with you. Some of Xerneas's go-to moves are Moonblast and Zen Headbutt.
Xerneas can be caught at level 20 without a weather boost, or at level 25 with a cloudy weather boost. The best Pokémon to use against Xerneas are Shadow-type Pokémon such as Gengar and Metagross. However, fans suggest to level up your Pokémon with Candy and TMs before battling this Legendary Pokémon.
