When Will Rainbow Six Siege Get Cross Play?
By Jack O'Dwyer

Rainbow Six Siege will be getting a cross play feature, according to the 2021 Ubisoft Forward.
Tom Clancy fans, rejoice! Rainbow Six Siege (RSS) is getting both cross play and cross-progression features. Finally, players can connect across the divide, allowing for a wider variety of gameplay styles and larger teammate pool. Even better: account-wide progress can be carried to whatever platform players migrate to in the future.
Here's when it's set to go live.
Rainbow Six Siege Cross Play Details
RSS players will be able to enjoy all the benefits of cross play and cross progression by early 2022 at the latest. According to information revealed during the Ubisoft Forward broadcast at E3 2021, however, not all platforms have been created equal.
PC, Stadia, and Luna players will be able to experience a functional cross play/progression system by its roll-out date, June 30. However, we assume the company will want to make minor adjustments here and there within the first week or so. It may take a bit before the full breadth and width of bonuses are working as they should.
Unfortunately, console players will have to wait until a still-unknown date in "early 2022." Hopefully, with PC's earlier date, console players won't have to worry about any significant bugs that don't have a published workaround.
