Where are spy bases in Fortnite is something players are searching for as the current season continues to wind down.

Fortnite spy base locations are easy to find and are necessary information for anyone trying to complete all the Storm the Agency challenges before Chapter 2 Season 3 starts on June 4. One challenge requires players to open a faction locked chest at three different spy bases to obtain the Steel Shadow Pickaxe.

Faction locked chests look a little different than regular chests. They are long, silver and require an ID scan to gain access to them. You may have to scan to get yourself into the vault where there will also be more than one chest, but you will only get credit for opening one of them for this challenge. These chest drop especially better loot than a normal chest, dropping mostly blue, purple, and gold items.

In order to access the spy bases, players have two choices. They can either enter a phone booth (most are very close to the spy base) and disguise themselves as a henchman, or kill all the henchman protecting the base and carry one to the ID scanner. You can only enter the base with the face of a henchman whether that is you disguised, or your recently deceased victim's.

There are five spy bases in total, but players only need to go to three for this challenge. There is one at the Yacht, the Rig, the Grotto, the Agency, and the Shark. These are pretty spread out across the map, so players will most likely be unable to get to three spy bases in one game.

Players have just a few more days to complete this change before Chapter 2 Season 3 begins and the Agency theme is over. The above map might change as well with the new season and you can read more about that here.
