Fortnite players are searching for surfboards to get their summer vibes on.
Fans can go catch some waves in Creative mode with the appearance of Surfboards—along with several other summer fun items like boats, fishing poles, and "so much more." The boards, themselves, seem to have caught player attention in particular. After all, who wouldn't want to hang 10 with Epic vs. Apple lawsuit mascot Peely?
Where are the Surfboards in Fortnite?
In short, the Surfboards are only available in Fortnite Creative mode.
Instead of heading into the normal battle royale mode, Fortnite players will need to enter the creative mode. From here, they can go into their mode-issued toolbox and choose to spawn a board pretty much anywhere they'd like.
Players can mount the board using whatever primary "use" button is assigned to their platform. When mounted in the water, the ocean will carry them over the waves. It's up to them whether they survive the tide or totally wipe out.
If surfing isn't your style—never fear. Epic has also included boats to brave the sea and designated several areas where players can cast a line. What popular game doesn't have a fishing option?
More information about summer Creative mode items and the new Summer Callout contest can be found on Epic's Fortnite news site.
