Where Does the Next Elder Scrolls Online Chapter Take Place?

The next Elder Scrolls Online adventure was recently announced through its Global Reveal event. Here's where the next ESO chapter takes place.

The Elder Scrolls Online next big storyline takes us through the Legacy of the Bretons. The entire storyline will be told across three DLCs and the newly announced High Isle Chapter. So far, the Legacy of the Bretons is scheduled to have the following releases:

• Ascending Tide DLC (March 14 for PC/Mac and Stadia, and March 29 for Xbox and PlayStation consoles)
• High Isle Chapter (June 6 for PC/Mac and Stadia, and June 21 for Xbox and PlayStation consoles)
• Unannounced Q3 DLC dungeon pack (date TBA)
• Unannounced Q4 DLC story zone (date TBA)

Featuring new companions, Delves, World Bosses, and more, the latest DLC and Chapter will no doubt be one to remember. For those who want to know a bit more ahead of its release, you might be wondering exactly where the High Isle Chapter takes place.

Where Does the Next Elder Scrolls Online Chapter Take Place?

The next Elder Scrolls Online chapter is set to take place on the Systres Archipelago. The new zone will take players across the islands of High Isle and Amenos, focusing on the lesser-explored cultures of the Bretons.

The Systres Archipelago is a region found in Nirn, and has never before been explored across other Elder Scrolls titles. The region is home to white cliffs, castles, jungles and a strong Breton society.

While not too much has been revealed so far regarding its environment, the reveal trailer gave players glimpses of some truly varied landscapes. Expect stormy seas, coastal settlements, and ruins from a time before.

More will likely be revealed as we move closer to the Chapter's release date in June. Players can pre-purchase the chapter on PC, Mac, Stadia, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
