Where is Darth Vader in Fortnite? The answer seems to be, more places than one.

Since the release of Fortnite's Chapter 3, Season 3 : Vibin' earlier this month, Darth Vader's participation has been no secret. The legendary Sith antagonist has featured prominently in the new season's promotional materials, and Fortnite's partnership with Lucasfilm has been well noted on Fortnite's official website.

The Darth Vader skin has been available throughout the season as a reward for holders of the Battle Pass. As Tech&Design explains in the YouTube video below, Battle Pass members need to reach a level of about 100 to access the Darth Vader skin, as well as claim all the rewards on prior pages. Long story short, Luke's father is the ultimate reward for playing this season with the Battle Pass.

Where is Darth Vader in Fortnite?

Starting today, Darth Vader also makes an appearance on the Island within Fortnite's Battle Royale mode. His location changes from game to game, with his shuttle visible from the Battle Bus at the start of each session. From there, players can track Vader's location, and hunt him down. How long Vader will be involved in the new season, and to what extent, remains uncertain. My sense is that a prominent character such as Darth Vader, might have more than a supporting role to play this time around. But, who knows? We'll have to play a lot more Fortnite to find out.
