To complete multiple Winterfest 2023 Quests, players must know where to find Sgt. Winter in Fortnite.

Fortnite Winterfest, Epic Games' annual in-game holiday event, offers players a variety of rewards, ranging from free skins to XP. Although the beloved Winterfest Cabin is gone, fans can still claim daily prizes and complete tasks to celebrate the end of 2023. Most of the Winterfest 2023 Quests are fairly straightforward, but a few require players to find a new NPC, Sgt. Winter, and Winterburg in the latest update.

Here's where Sgt. Winter is located in Fortnite.

Where to Find Sgt. Winter in Fortnite

To find Sgt. Winter in Fortnite, players must head to Winterburg, a new landmark Epic Games added in Winterfest 2023. The small island is just northwest of Classy Courts at the very top of the map. You will find the NPC patrolling the middle of the area, typically by the Reboot Van in the center of the ice.

Finding Sgt. Winter at Winterburg is the only way to collect an item inside a present thrown by the limited-time NPC. The quest might sound a little confusing, but simply approach him and wait for him to throw the present, You do not have to interact with him.

Then, like any other present in Fortnite, pickaxe the box open and pick up any of the items inside. The quest will be completed and you will earn 15,000 XP.

How to Land at Winterburg and Finish in the Top 20: A Complete Guide

Another Winterfest 2023 quest requires players to land at Winterburg and finish in the top 20. The challenge sounds easy enough, but Winterburg is a hot spot on the map, and you are more than likely to run into multiple enemies landing there.

To successfully finish in the top 20 after dropping at Winterburg, we recommend getting away from the small island as quickly as possible. You only need to land there to complete the first half of the quest; you do not need to stay there beyond a few seconds.

Then, play out your game as passively as possible by disengaging from fights and keeping to the outskirts of the zone. Once you hit that top 20 milestone, feel free to ditch the slow play style and start W-keying.
