New World’s new players are wondering which server they should pick to start the game.

Servers on New World are expansive, specific, and can be confusing to navigate for a player new to MMOs or simply looking to jump into the gameplay without drowning. With the amount of popular streamers making the jump to the game, as well, it makes sense that unaffiliated players would want to steer clear of massive groups.

Here’s which servers you should pick in New World.

Which Server Should You Choose in New World?

New World servers are broken down by region: NA East/West, Europe, Australia, and South America. Europe and South America are further segmented by specific language.

NA East

Honestly, these are mostly identical, so we recommend picking whichever feels right to you. Coordinate with your friends if you plan to play as a group.

NA East’s only Spanish server is Lilliput.

NA West

The most popular servers for streamers using NA West is El Dorado.

English players are welcome to any of the other 26 servers available. As we stated above, pick the one that feels the best to you or the one you’ll have the most friends on.

Again, the only Spanish server is Lilliput.

Europe

European servers are the most complex by far. Servers are split among five languages: English, Spanish, French, German, and Italian. Servers Hades, Inferni, and Jotenheim seem to be the most popular for streamers—which is surprising and potentially disappointing considering Jotenheim is the only Italian server available.

Spanish servers are Kor and Bengodi.

French servers are:

  • Lyonesse
  • Nysa
  • Bakhu
  • Ife
  • Melinde

There are eight German servers:

  • Albraca
  • Ladrad
  • Ganzir
  • Styx
  • Ravenal
  • Utgard
  • Antilla
  • Silpium

The other 54 servers cater to English-speaking players.

Australia

Australia only hosts English servers—of which there are 11. Utopia is set to be the most populated.

South America

Currently, all servers look to be around the same population at the time of writing. This means players really only have to worry about their language preference. There are only three Spanish or English servers. The rest are Portuguese.
