Who Voices Crypto in Apex Legends?

Who voices Crypto in Apex Legends must have a great time doing it. Crypto, himself, is an awesome character with cool lines and quips that allude to an inner depth just below the surface. As the newest Apex Legends character coming in Season 3, we still have a lot to learn about Crypto, which is why his voice lines and voice actor are critical. Each can tell us a lot about who he is and where he's going to go.

Here's what we can tell you about Johnny Young, the voice actor of Crypto from Apex Legends.

Who Voices Crypto in Apex Legends?

Johnny Young is no stranger to working in video games. As a long time gamer, he reportedly spent a good amount of time actually playing Apex Legends before being cast in it. Respawn's offer came right after his role as D.va's friend Dae-Hyun in Blizzard's Overwatch "Shooting Star" short. He also worked on Medal of Honor: Warfighter and played Sho in the World War Z game.

Young started his acting career at about 18 years old. Born and raised in Los Angeles, he spent a lot of time in various acting schools before picking up brief roles on television and film. He even spent some time in Korea working in entertainment over there. He was eventually introduced to work in the video game industry by his good friend Charlet Chung—also known as D.va.
