With God of War Ragnarök set to release on Nov. 9, some players are hoping to learn everything they can about the game ahead of time.
Santa Monica Studio's upcoming action-adventure game God of War Ragnarök is set for release in just over a weeks time. Despite being a sequel to 2018's God of War, Ragnarök will be the ninth installment in the God of War series. The game follows on from the events of God of War, set in ancient Scandinavia and focusing on series protagonist Kratos and his now-teenage son Atreus.
Story and characters feature heavily in God of War Ragnarök and it's prequel from 2018, with the presence and portrayal of both Kratos and Atreus being an important aspect. Throughout their journey, the pair will encounter a number of beings from ancient mythology. So who voices Odin in the upcoming game?
Who Voices Odin in God of War Ragnarök?
Making his debut in God of War Ragnarök, Odin is voiced by actor Richard Schiff.
Schiff has had an extensive acting career in both television and film, appearing in productions such as The West Wing, Se7en, Man of Steel and more. God of War Ragnarök marks the first time the actor has given his voice to a video game character.
Odin is set to play a more significant role in Ragnarök after only being referenced in 2018's God of War.
God of War Ragnarök will release worldwide on Nov. 9, 2022 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
