Call of Duty: Warzone's latest Code Red tournament, hosted by BoomTV, has crowned its winners.

BoomTV's Code Red tournament hosted on June 9 featured a seriously star-studded roster with the likes of Aydan "Aydan" Conrad, Rhys "Rated" Price, Jordan "HusKerrs" Thomas, Tyler "TeePee" Polchow, and more. The competition kicked off at 12 p.m. ET on Wednesday with a 2v2 match structure. Duos were pit against each other to see who could score the most kills and win the most out of three rounds. Losers were then able to earn their redemption by beating their opponent in a single fight.

Here's how it went.

Who Won the Warzone Code Red Tournament?

The duo of Aydan and Rated took home first place in the Code Red Tournament, winning a cash prize of $12,000 USD. In second place, DiazBiffle and SuperEvan took home $6000 USD. Destroy & ClutchBelk, came in third with a prize total of $2000 USD.

There was a clear divide between the professional players and, well, everyone else. The duos of DiazBiffle and SuperEvan and Aydan and Rated easily swept past their competition to duke it out for first place. Neither team left room for speculation about who would make it to the top spot.

Unfortunately, this aggressive style of gameplay knocked out quite a few names from the upper echelon within the first few matches. Well-known competitors like Tommey, MuTeX, and DrDisrespect didn't even manage to reach the top five.

Perhaps even more interesting was the appearance of the collegiate qualifying team Kapo and Thuggers who, despite a good showing early on, were quick to learn why the players in this tournament are called the best.

Well done, collegiate team, and congratulations to the winners.
