Wondering why your rank reset in Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific? Here's what you need to know.
Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific has finally landed, alongside its integration with Vanguard. This means there's a whole new wave of content to explore, including POIs and a new Battle Pass. Those who spent a lot of time in previous seasons of Warzone probably had quite a few levels behind them, so why have they now been reset?
Why Did Ranks Reset in Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific?
XP earned in Call of Duty: Warzone goes towards increasing your rank. If you've been a dedicated player and earned a tonne of XP, you might have hit the max rank ready for the next wave of content. Sadly, though, at the end of each season, you go back to Season Level 1, but your Prestige does not reset. Everyone starts again, with near enough a blank slate.
Similar occurences happen in other Battle Royale games, like Fortnite. With the start of Chapter 3 everyone's levels, no matter how high, went straight back down to zero.
It's not so bad, though. As you play through games of Warzone you'll earn your XP back pretty quickly. And, with a brand new map and some shiny new features, there's no better time to get back on the grind.
