Set seven years prior to the events of Final Fantasy VII, Crisis Core follows Zack Fair, a young Shinra SOLDIER operative, as he uncovers the dark secrets of Shinra’s experiments. Aside from featuring new HD graphics, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion also makes use of an updated combat system and a newly arranged soundtrack.

With the game's release date slowly creeping up, players might be hoping for the game to make its way to the Nintendo Switch.
