Aspyr Media and Sony have joined forced with Lucasfilm Games to bring back this much-loved Star Wars game. For its time, Knights of the Old Republic was truly an achievement for RPGs, offering a diverse and ambitious game that now holds a special place in the hearts of many gamers.

According to a PlayStation blog post by Ryan Treadwell, Lead Producer at Aspyr Media, the developers will be "rebuilding it from the ground up with the latest tech to match the groundbreaking standard of innovation established by the original, all while staying true to its revered story."
