Will PUBG be banned? The topic has become a point of conversation considering the game's regional bans in some countries.
PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS was recently banned in Nepal, according to a report from Reuters that cited violence and the game's negative impact on children as reasons.
A further report from The Independent on Sunday claimed Iraq could be next to ban PUBG, and potentially Fortnite, for similar reasons.
But will the game be completely banned? Here's what we know about PUBG being banned.
"We have ordered the ban on PUBG because it is addictive to children and teenagers," Sandip Adhikari, deputy director at Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA), the nation's telecoms regulator, told Reutershttps://t.co/yxSHHLGyRp— WION (@WIONews) April 12, 2019
Will PUBG be Banned?
In terms of a global ban, it seems highly unlikely that the game would be completely nixed. Further countries might act on the game's eligibility but a complete global ban is highly unlikely.
