Will There Be a GTA 6?

Will there be a GTA 6? Details on the next entry in Rockstar Games' legendary franchise are scarce to say the least, but considering its history it would be surprising if Rockstar passed on making a sixth. Here's what we know so far.

Unfortunately for Grand Theft Auto fans, Rockstar Games has yet to make any noise regarding a sixth GTA game. For now, the developer seems focused on Red Dead Redemption 2, its other flagship title, which released Oct. 26.

Rockstar Games is also typically a somewhat reclusive developer, granting little insight into its goings on. Information about the game likely won't be forthcoming.

Still, Grand Theft Auto is one of the most influential and commercially successful franchises in all of video games. Unless Rockstar says otherwise, the smart money is on another Grand Theft Auto Game coming at some point. Exactly when remains a mystery.

Rumors have suggested the game is being built currently, with a 2020 or 2021 release date in mind, but no strong information is yet available.
