The Elder Scrolls VI fans are scouring the internet for any updates to possibly be revealed at E3.

Bethesda Softworks has been teasing The Elder Scrolls VI (TES6) since E3 2018—over three years ago. Since then, Todd Howard, Bethesda's Game Director, has urged fans to be patient regarding news and updates surrounding the title. That hasn't stopped them from being restless, however. With E3 2021 sitting on the horizon, both excitement and expectations are higher than ever before.

The Elder Scrolls 6 Updates at E3

Bethesda Softworks has yet to confirm any reveals, information, or extra content concerning its latest installment into The Elder Scrolls series coming to this year's E3. Unfortunately, the same still appears to be under lock-and-key, causing fans to piece together what they can from brief trailers and community speculation.

Of these rumors, the most popular is the location players will be able to explore once the game drops. Hammerfell and High Rock are the top choices considering the footage in the announcement trailer and so-called subliminal clues in Elder Scrolls social media posts afterward. The validity of either province, however, cannot be verified at the time of writing.

Bethesda and Microsoft—who bought the developer in March 2021—have been announced as guests at the convention this year with their own showcase taking place on June 13 at 1 p.m. ET. With this date less than three days away at the time of writing, the chances of a TES6 confirmation are slim.

Fans will just have to wait until the showcase on Wednesday.
