A fan-favorite location could be heading back to Fortnite according to data miners and, now, the verified Fortnite Twitter.
Tilted Towers has been a long-time favorite of many Fortnite fans since its release around this time three years ago—Jan. 17, 2018. The mayhem the towers facilitated for those first few weeks has proven difficult to replicate. This isn’t for lack of trying, of course. When Epic Games shelved the location, it attempted to replace it with several others to no avail. Now, it appears the developers have decided to bring Tilted Towers back.
Will Titled Towers Return to Fortnite?
According to Fortnite fans and Internet sleuths, based on a recent tweet published on the verified Fortnite Twitter account earlier today, Monday, Jan. 17, Tilted Towers will be making its long-awaited return on Tuesday, Jan. 18.
”One more sleep,” the tweet read with a cityscape emoji placed at the end.
It’s also worth noting that the next patch for the game, Fortnite v19.30, will release tomorrow, Jan. 18. Unfortunately, DBLTAP cannot completely confirm Tilted Towers will be present in that patch. It doesn’t seem as though Epic is building fans' expectations for no reason, however.
This, of course, is the crest of the hype train that has been building since data miners discovered the towers at the beginning of Chapter 3. Several found the Tilted Towers were already present on the map once the Island flipped. They were simply frozen under the snowdrifts of Frosty Fields.
For many fans, this likely feels like the night before Christmas. Here’s hoping those individuals excited for the return of Tilted Towers will get the gift they wished for.
