Microsoft just announced its brand-new lineup of titles joining Xbox Game Pass for March 2022 and WWE 2K22 is finally set to arrive this week. However, will its redesigned gameplay engine and new controls be coming to the popular gaming subscription service? Here's a breakdown of if and when WWE 2K22 will be available on Xbox Game Pass.

Will WWE 2K22 be on Xbox Game Pass?

Although WWE 2K22 is just about to release on both console and PC, it does not appear that the wresting simulation will be offered on Xbox Game Pass for the foreseeable future.

While Microsoft has been known for dropping brand-new games on Xbox Game Pass right on day one — such as Nobody Saves the World and Age of Empires IV — 2K has yet to mention any sort of plans that would bring WWE 2K22 to the service.

As far as a timeline for when WWE 2K22 could potentially be added to game pass down the line, it's worth noting that WWE 2K20, which released in 2019, is still being listed at $59.99 USD on the Xbox Store.

Microsoft and 2K did team up to bring NBA 2K21 to Xbox Game Pass in March 2021, but it remains to be seen if they will do the same for NBA 2K22 this year.

Electronic Arts' Madden NFL 22 was just recently added to Xbox Game Pass in February, about five months since its initial August 2021 release, but it was via EA Play.

That could be something to monitor for wrestling fans who are also Xbox Game Pass members considering a recent report suggesting that WWE is considering a deal to have EA take over its games line.

WWE 2K22 is set to officially release on March 11, 2022, for PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC (via Steam). The "nWo 4-Life" and "Deluxe" editions were released earlier on March 8.
