WMD Call of Duty: Treyarch Teases Map's Return

WMD Call of Duty might be making a return to the series after eight years of absence. While Call of Duty Black Ops 4 developer Treyarch has yet to confirm anything concrete, things look good for the now classic map to meet a new generation of Call of Duty players.

The official Call of Duty Twitter account posted a short video Saturday showing footage of WMD's snowy nuclear plant with a biohazard symbol as the caption. The cryptic message led many to believe WMD would soon be available in Call of Duty Black Ops 4, the currently active title in the series.

WMD returning as a multiplayer map is the most likely option, but it could also be added either as a location on the Blackout map, or as a new Blackout map entirely.

Whatever form it takes, WMD will likely arrive Tuesday, when the next Black Ops 4 operation releases.
