World of Warcraft Classic phases are the stages in which Blizzard plans to add new content to the game. Though the game is finally available for players to hop onto servers, not all of the content has yet been made public. Here's how Blizzard plans to roll out that content.

World of Warcraft Classic Phases: When Will More Content Arrive in WoW Classic?

In March 2019 World of Warcraft Classic community manager Randy "Kaivax" Jordan posted an outline for how Blizzard would give access to the many elements of World of Warcraft Classic to players.

Per Jordan's post, World of Warcraft Classic Phase 1 — the state of the game as launched — includes Molten Core, Onyxia and Maraudon. Here's how the phases will proceed from there:

  • Phase 2: Dire Maul, Azuregos and Kazzak
  • Phase 3: Blackwing Lair, Darkmoon Faire, Darkmoon Deck drops begin
  • Phase 4: Zul'Gurub, Green Dragons
  • Phase 5: Ahn’Qiraj War Effort begins, Ahn’Qiraj raids open when the war effort dictates, Dungeon loot reconfiguration (Tier 0.5 Dungeon gear, Relics, drop rates and location changes)
  • Phase 6: Naxxramas, Scourge Invasion

Blizzard has yet to reveal a timeline for when each phase will hit live servers.
