Death Stranding 2: Motherhood entrance code guide

Once you arrive at Australia’s The Motherhood in Death Stranding 2 you will be asked to enter a code on the door. If you haven’t been paying attention, you will have absolutely no idea what to do here. It’s okay though, because the code to get inside the door is somewhere in your tips and documents, but you won’t be able to find it easily, and it’s different for every player based on a decision they made at the start of the game.

The Motherhood door code solution – DS2

If you check the Corpus for information on your job in the Order Details section, you’ll see a line that reads as follows: “Be sure to read the Motherhood’s databank entry carefully before visiting.”

That’s a big hint. Head over to the Databank and under Facilities you’ll find The Motherhood. Scroll down in this entry and you’ll find this line: “The code required to open the door and overcome their suspicion is the date of your own birth.”

The Motherhood is a group of mothers, after all, so the code is the date that connects you to your mother. You can press Square on this screen to reveal the code, and it’ll be in MMDD format.

You were asked to enter your date of birth when you first began the game, and that will be the code used to access The Motherhood. If you skipped through this screen, you’ll need to check The Motherhood’s Databank entry to reveal the date you entered.
