Elden Ring Nightreign: How to unlock Revenant

There are eight total playable Nightfarers available in Elden Ring: Nightreign, but one that you might neglect until it’s too late is Revenant. Revenant has some of the most interesting capabilities in all of Nightreign, and she could easily turn the tide of battle even in the worst possible scenarios.

How to unlock Revenant – Nightreign

Much like with Duchess, you will first have to complete at least one Tricephalos Expedition against Gladius, Beast of Night. After speaking with the Priestess and unlocking Duchess, check the Small Jar Bazaar shop for new items and purchase the Besmirched Frame.

The Besmirched Frame doesn’t have a clear purpose, but once you unlock it, the ghost of a young woman will appear outside the door of the study, standing silently in a corner. Speak with her and you’ll find yourself in a unique boss fight.

Here, Revenant will summon three fearsome beasts, while also coming at you with her own attacks. Focus on Revenant, defeat her, and she will become a playable Nightfarer, complete with the ability to summon phantoms to assist in expeditions.
