Protect the Trailblaze with the best Honkai: Star Rail Dan Heng - Permansor Terrae build — this 5-Star character following The Preservation and dealing Physical DMG offers abilities that shield and bolster his comrades.

Permansor Terrae’s Skill, Terra Omnibus, marks the targeted ally as his Bondmate and casts a stackable shield based on his ATK on all allies for three turns.

When a Bondmate is on the field, Permansor Terrae summons a Souldragon, which appears on the turn order with its own SPD stat. It counts as a summon, but is not a Memosprite. When the Souldragon takes action, it dispels one debuff from all allies and provides them with a stackable shield based on Permansor Terrae’s ATK. Additionally, Bondmate’s ATK is increased based on Permansor Terrae’s ATK. Whenever Bondmate attacks, Permansor Terrae recovers Energy and the Souldragon has his next action advanced forward.

Permansor Terrae’s Ultimate, A Dragon’s Zenith Knows No Rue, deals Physical DMG based on his ATK to all enemies and provides all allies with a stackable shield based on his ATK. On top of that, Souldragon becomes enhanced and launches a Follow-Up Attack on its turn, dealing Physical DMG to all enemies based on Permansor Terrae’s ATK as well as Additional DMG of Bondmate’s DMG Type based on Bondmate’s ATK. This enhancement lasts for two actions.

Permansor Terrae’s Eidolons, which can be unlocked by pulling duplicates of him, have the following effects:

HSR – Dan Heng - Permansor Terrae: best Light Cones

If need be, you can equip Permansor Terrae with high-ATK Light Cones from other Paths. / HoYoverse

Dan Heng - Permansor Terrae requires a Light Cone that provides lots of ATK, which Though Worlds Apart, his signature Light Cone, naturally does. In addition to a hefty portion of ATK, it causes the wearer to heal all allies based on their ATK when using their Ultimate. At the same time, it bestows the Redoubt effect on all allies, boosting their DMG — a buff that’s even better when they command summons.

Other than that, the selection of Light Cones for Permansor Terrae is not fantastic, since most weapons for this Path focus on DEF. If you’re out of options, you can always stick a Light Cone from another Path on him that provides lots of ATK as a base stat. While the weapon’s effects won’t work when used with a character of the wrong class, the stats count regardless.

Best Light Cones for Dan Heng - Permansor Terrae in HSR:

  • Though Worlds Apart (5-Star)
  • Journey, Forever Peaceful (4-Star)
  • We Are Wildfire (4-Star)
  • Landau’s Choice (4-Star)

Naturally, ATK remains the highest priority in regard to Permansor Terrae’s Relics. SPD and Energy Regeneration are vital as well: You want him to get into the action quickly to get the Souldragon going and frequent Ultimates greatly bolster the summon’s effectiveness.

CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG are solid fillers to maximize his own damage output.

HSR – Dan Heng - Permansor Terrae: best teams

Permansor Terrae is a fairly flexible shielder, though ATK-based compositions are his specialty. / HoYoverse

Dan Heng - Permansor Terrae is a potent shielder with sprinkles of Harmony in his kit in the form of the Bondmate’s buffs. While that makes him extremely versatile, he’s definitely most suited to compositions that rely on ATK to deal damage.

  • Feixiao (Main DPS), March 7th (Hunt) (Sub DPS), Topaz (Sub DPS), Permansor Terrae (Support)

In this composition, Feixiao would be Permansor Terrae’s ideal Bondmate, benefitting from the additional ATK. The team also makes use of Souldragon’s Follow-Up Attack to create synergy between Feixiao, March 7th (Hunt), and Topaz.

  • Jing Yuan (Main DPS), Sunday (Support), Robin (Support), Permansor Terrae (Support)

His good buddy Jing Yuan is another character Permansor Terrae works well with, especially if you have Permansor Terrae’s signature Light Cone. In that case, Jing Yuan not only makes use of the extra ATK provided by the shielder, but also the weapon’s Redoubt effect. Sunday and Robin add their own buffs into the mix, greatly enhancing Our General's potency.

  • Anaxa (Main DPS), Trailblazer (Remembrance) (Support), Cerydra (Support), Permansor Terrae (Support)

This team pretty much works the same way: Anaxa is the Main DPS and gets buffed by all the other characters on board, with Trailblazer (Remembrance) enabling True DMG, Cerydra bestowing Military Merit on the carry, and Permansor Terrae making him his Bondmate.
