Honkai: Star Rail – Fu Xuan build and ascension guide
By Marco Wutz

Peer into the future with the best Honkai: Star Rail Fu Xuan build and protect your team through the power of foresight. Leading the Xianzhou Luofu’s Divination Commission, Fu Xuan is able to use the Matrix of Prescience to steal a look at events to come, allowing her to prevent her allies coming to harm. She’s a follower of The Preservation and deals Quantum DMG.
Table of Contents
Fu Xuan’s Skill, Known by Stars, Shown by Hearts, is using the Matrix of Prescience itself, which after activation increases the Max HP of all team members based on Fu Xuan’s own Max HP as well as their CRIT Rate. For three turns, a percentage of all incoming damage against her allies (before Shield mitigation) is distributed to Fu Xuan instead.
Her Ultimate, Woes of Many Morphed into One, deals Quantum DMG based on Fu Xuan’s Max HP to all enemies and obtains one trigger count for her Talent’s HP restore effect. It’s noteworthy that one of her Traces enables her Ultimate to heal all of her allies based on her own Max HP, though it’s by a relatively small percentage.
Speaking of which: Her Talent, Bleak Breeds Bliss, applies a damage reduction aura to the entire team as long as Fu Xuan is on the field. When Fu Xuan’s HP fall below 50%, she will heal herself based on how much health she’s currently missing. This does not prevent her from suffering a killing blow and can only be triggered a maximum of two times in a row without the charges being refilled by her Ultimate.
Fu Xuan’s Eidolon Levels, which you can obtain by pulling additional copies of her, further boost her power. Eidolon 1 adds a CRIT DMG bonus to her Skill’s Knowledge effect. Eidolon 2 is huge, because it allows an ally struck down with a killing blow to survive this hit and gain a big heal while Matrix of Prescience is active — once per battle, at least. Eidolon 4 enables Fu Xuan to regenerate Energy whenever an ally protected by the Matrix of Prescience is hit. Eidolon 6 adds damage to her Ultimate based on the amount of HP allies have lost over the course of the battle, though the amount is capped based on Fu Xuan’s Max HP and resets every time she uses her Ultimate.
Honkai: Star Rail – Fu Xuan: best Light Cones
Fu Xuan’s best Light Cone is She Already Shut Her Eyes, which increases the wearer’s Max HP and Energy Regeneration in addition to providing a damage boost to all allies for two turns when the wearer loses HP. On top of that, all allies will restore some HP at the beginning of each combat wave based on the amount they’ve lost.
You can see how this fits Fu Xuan: Max HP is her most important stat, as everything she does scales with it. Energy is always useful, since that’ll get her Ultimate online faster, enabling her to deal damage and heal her allies. The built-in heal and damage buff are the cherries on top.
