Become the greatest of hackers with the best Honkai: Star Rail Silver Wolf build allowing you to modify the fabric of reality itself and making life into the most fun game there is. Silver Wolf is a member of the Stellaron Hunters and follows the Path of The Nihility, dealing Quantum DMG.

Silver Wolf’s Skill, Allow Changes?, deals Quantum DMG based on her ATK to the target and has a chance to implant a Weakness based on a random ally’s Damage Type into that enemy in addition to decreasing the Type RES of the target against that Damage Type. This is a useful ability to have and is especially effective if Silver Wolf is part of a team with only one Damage Type, since you can guarantee this way that a useful Weakness will be implanted.

Her Ultimate, User Banned, dishes out a large amount of Quantum DMG based on her ATK and has a chance to decrease the enemy’s DEF for three turns.

All of these abilities as well as her Basic Attack make use of her Talent, which is called Awaiting System Response. This gives her the chance to implant one of three Bugs into the enemy with each attack — the Bugs reduce the ATK, DEF, or SPD of the target for three turns.

Silver Wolf’s Eidolon Levels, which you can obtain by pulling additional copies of her, further buff her kit. Eidolon 1 regenerates additional Energy for her based on the amount of debuffs the foe targeted by her Ultimate has, counting up to five debuffs. Level 2 reduces the Effect RES of all enemies. Level 4 deals additional Quantum DMG to the target of her Ultimate depending on the amount of debuffs on them, once again counting up to five debuffs. Finally, Level 6 provides a general damage buff to all of Silver Wolf’s attacks based on the enemy’s debuff count, stacking up to five times.

Silver Wolf’s Weakness Type implant has aged worse than many players thought when she was introduced — the ability was considered to be borderline overpowered back then. Since then, a good many characters have their own Weakness Type implant abilities or can ignore Weakness Types completely, diminishing Silver Wolf’s value. However, her kit is still the key to certain team compositions and her strength as a debuffer is still intact.

  • Qingque (Main DPS), Sparkle (Support), Silver Wolf (Support), Fu Xuan (Support)

The Mono-Quantum team composition is only possible thanks to Silver Wolf. Since all units are of the same Damage Type, she can reliably implant Quantum Weakness on enemies, ensuring that the party fights at maximum efficiency. Silver Wolf also enhances Qingque’s damage thanks to the debuffs she applies to enemies. Sparkle buffs the Main DPS and provides both her and Silver Wolf with the necessary Skill Points to use their kits. Fu Xuan or Lynx round out the team and keep everyone alive.

  • Acheron (Main DPS), Silver Wolf (Support), Jiaoqiu (Support), Aventurine (Support)

Acheron is dependent on enemies getting debuffed to charge up her Ultimate, making Silver Wolf one of the best team mates for her, since she ideally inflicts a debuff with every action. Jiaoqiu is another excellent debuffer and Aventurine keeps the team healthy with his shields.

Silver Wolf also fits well into Anaxa teams, as she can boost his damage by supporting his own Weakness Implant efforts.

Honkai: Star Rail – Silver Wolf: ascension materials

Here’s everything you need to know to get Silver Wolf ascended to the maximum level and upgrade all of her Traces.

Silver Wolf requires the following ascension materials to get to level 80 in addition to the necessary XP:

  • Credits x308,000
  • Ancient Part x15
  • Ancient Spindle x15

  • Void Cast Iron x65

You can obtain Ancient Parts, Spindles, and Engines from Automatons and other enemies in the Robot Settlement and the Great Mine as well as the Simulated Universe. You can create or exchange them through the Omni-Synthesizer on the Astral Express, too. Ancient Parts are one of the base materials you can easily farm through the Daily Assignments to your characters, making for a consistent income of the material.

Void Cast Iron is dropped by the Stagnant Shadow (Base Zone) or gained through exchange. The best source of Credits are the Golden Calyxes found on many worlds.

Silver Wolf requires the following materials to upgrade her combat abilities and Traces:

  • Credits x3,000,000
  • Ancient Part x41
  • Ancient Spindle x56
  • Ancient Engine x58
  • Obsidian of Dread x18
  • Obsidian of Desolation x69

For the materials already mentioned, check above. Obsidians can be farmed in the Crimson Calyx (Great Mine). As usual, you can create the high-level materials by using up lower-level materials in the Omni-Synthesizer on the Astral Express.

Destroyer’s Final Road is a rarer material only gained from the Echo of War (Supply Zone) domain, while Tracks of Destiny can be obtained during time-limited events, the Embers Exchange, the Nameless Honor, or as a Simulated Universe Points Reward.
