Persona 5: The Phantom X upcoming banner schedule
By Ryan Woodrow

With the global release of P5X seemingly running updates a lot quicker than the Chinese version did when it first launched, there has been a lot of speculation over whether we’ll be seeing the limited-time banners come around faster, too. Naturally, there are a bunch of highly anticipated characters on their way, from original members of the Phantom Thieves of Hearts to the original characters we’ve already gotten to know in-game, and people want to know what they should be saving up all their currency for.
We’ve got a rundown of what the upcoming banners are expected to be up until Version 2.0, along with when they’re expected to run. Note that these days are not set in stone, and may shift a bit as the update schedule unfolds – for more on that, check out our rundown of the P5X update roadmap.

Summer Closer - September 22 - October 23
There has been some doubt over whether the Summer event would still run at the same time in the update sequence, as it will no longer be summer by the time this update drops, but in the most recent stream, the developers said that summer content was indeed on it's way, so it's fair to assume that Global will continue to follow the same pattern as the Chinese version of the game. This means we'll get the Bless-element alternate summer version of Closer next.
Summer Moko - October 9 - November 10
Asumming these summer outfits are split across two updates like they were on the Chinese version, that means we'll have to wait an extra two weeks to get summer Moko, who still uses the Psy element, but has some different skills that make her a healing-focused unit instead of a debuff-focused one.
Kira Kitazato (Messa) - October 23 - November 24
Once the out-of-season summer event is done, we'll be getting Messa, a fairly strong Physical-focused unit that unleashed several strikes that stack up Bleed on his targets, causing them to gradually take more damage over time, making him great for wearing down multiple foes, despite what his classification as Assassin might suggest.
Futaba Sakura (Oracle) - November 6
By this point it will have been quite a while since a new member of the Phantom Thieves of Hearts is added to the game, but it's worth the wait, as Futaba is easily one of the best Navi units in the game, able to remove elemental resistances and turning neutral elements into weaknesses, letting you massively increase your damage potential.
Masaki Ashiya (Cherish) - November 20
Cherish is a staunch wall of a unit. He deals heavy damage based on his Defense while being able to set up shields for his allies, something which the current roster is severaly lacking, so it's going to be worth going out of your way to get your hands on this unit.
Haru Okumura (Noir) - December 4
With this update we'll complete the core group of the Phantom Thieves of Hearts, as we'll finally get our hands on a strong offensive-focused Psy unit in Noir, who will remain as one of the game's strongest Sweeper units for quite a while after she's added.
