Here's when you can start pulling cards in the game's biggest expansion to date

Pokémon TCG Pocket’s next major expansion, Mega Rising, is set to be released very soon, and it’s likely to be the game’s biggest expansion to date. While most expansions contain one or two booster packs to open, each with about 100 cards, Mega Rising will have three boosters, and is expected to contain over 300 cards. 

As the first B-series set in Pokémon TCG Pocket, players are excited to jump in to the new cards, especially after the massive misstep of the Deluxe Pack ex, which frustrated players around the world and has been the primary pack for players to collect over the last month. With that in mind, many are wondering exactly when they can get their hands on the Mega Rising expansion, and we’re here to answer exactly that. 

In this guide we’ll go over the exact release time for Pokémon TCG Pocket’s Mega Rising expansion.

Pokémon TCG Pocket Mega Rising: Exact release times

Pokémon TCG Pocket’s Mega Rising expansion will be released at 2am ET on October 30, 2025. 

The release of the expansion is synchronised globally, with every region getting the update at the exact same time. This means that, for most regions, the expansion will be available at some point on October 30. The only major exception to this is the West Coast of the US, which will see the expansion released at 11pm PT on October 29. 

Here’s when the Mega Rising will become available in each time zone: 

  • PST – 11:00pm (October 29)
  • EST – 2:00am 
  • BRT – 3:00am
  • GMT – 6:00am
  • CET – 7:00am
  • CST – 2:00pm
  • JST/KST – 3:00pm
  • AEDT – 5:00pm
  • NZDT – 7:00pm
