Umamusume: How to reroll

Kitasan Black is finally available in Umamusume: Pretty Derby, but not everyone’s luck is good enough to pull the valuable Support Card. Fortunately, Umamusume’s global version is still in a very early stage and rerolling your account for another chance at the card is not too painful yet.

What is rerolling? It’s a reset — you start your account afresh, using the plentitude of beginner resources and free pulls to aim for the characters and cards you’re looking for. Naturally, this is not a guarantee that you’ll get what you want. It's another gamble, pure and simple, and might therefore leave you in a worse position than before. Whether or not you take it is up to you.

How to reroll in Umamusume: Pretty Derby

So, how do you reroll your account? Cygames has made that fairly simple: All you have to do is start the game and press the menu button in the bottom right corner of the title screen — that’s the screen that appears before you get into the main hub from where you actually play.

In this menu, you’ll find an option called “Delete User Data” — use this to reroll your account. As the option itself states, this is a step there’s no return from, so think it through carefully.

In Umamusume, you’ll generally want to avoid rerolling for characters and aim for Support Cards instead — like the aforementioned SSR Kitasan Black, which will be strong as long as this game exists and can be used in every career mode run you ever attempt. You can always borrow it, of course, though this will limit your borrowing options in the long run.
