Weave the story of a lifetime with the best Wuthering Waves Ciaccona build. This 5-Star Resonator wielding Pistols and dealing Aero DMG is a powerful Sub DPS, who can support characters of the Aero and Spectro DMG type.

Ciaccona can begin a Solo Concert with her attacks, increasing the party’s Aero DMG. Her Resonance Skill, Harmonic Allegro, allows her to deal Aero DMG and inflict Aero Erosion. Synergizing well with this is her Outro Skill, which increases Aero Erosion DMG temporarily when she’s been swapped out.

Singer's Triple Cadenza, her Resonance Liberation, enables Ciaccona to enter Recital and begins a rhythm-based minigame. You can press the green or yellow buttons as the sound waves emanating from Ciaccona overlap the circle indicators on screen to generate green or yellow Symphonic Poem Tonics. Green Tonics deal Aero DMG and inflict Aero Erosion, while Yellow Tonics deal Aero DMG and inflict Spectro Frazzle. Ciaccona takes less damage during Recital and generates a shield on herself when casting Resonance Liberation, but can also be switched out without ending the ability, giving her off-field utility.

Ciaccona collects Musical Essence via her Intro Skill or Basic Attack Combo. Having obtained three Musical Essence, she gains access to a Heavy Attack that groups up targets and inflicts Aero Erosion.

Players looking to use Ciaccona as an Aero DMG Sub DPS should take note of Resonance Chain 2, which adds a teamwide Aero DMG buff to the effects of her Resonance Liberation.

Ciaccona is best equipped with her signature weapon, Woodland Aria. It provides additional CRIT Rate and ATK. Additionally, it temporarily bolsters the wearer’s Aero DMG when they inflict Aero Erosion on a target and reduces that enemy’s Aero RES. Since Ciaccona has several ways of inflicting Aero Erosion reliably, this results in a robust DPS increase for her.

Best Ciaccona Echoes – Wuthering Waves

Ciaccona can make great use of the Gusts of Welkin Sonata Effect, which increases her Aero DMG, but also boosts the team’s Aero DMG upon inflicting Aero Erosion. Note that set is the optimal one for use with other Aero Resonators. If you want to put Ciaccona into another team, such as a Spectro composition, Moonlit Clouds is the better choice. Fleurdelys as the Main Echo further bolsters her personal Aero DMG.

In terms of stats, you can pretty much put everything into the offense, as she doesn’t have all too egregious Energy requirements.

Best Ciaccona teams – Wuthering Waves

As touched on above, there are two team archetypes that make the most sense for Ciaccona: Aero DMG comps and Spectro DMG comps. Her role in both is similar: Provide buffs and inflict damage over time.

• Jiyan (Main DPS), Ciaccona (Sub DPS), Rover (Aero) (Support)

Jiyan benefits from the Aero DMG buffs Ciaccona provides, while her Outro Skill synergizes well with Rover (Aero), who acts as the team’s healer. Following Cartethiya’s release, she’ll probably be the best Main DPS to work with Ciaccona.

• Zani (Main DPS), Ciaccona (Sub DPS), Shorekeeper (Support)

Although she can’t replace Phoebe entirely, Ciaccona is the second-best option to accompany Zani, who very much relies on Spectro Frazzle to make the most of her own kit. Shorekeeper or Verina are the best choices for the healer spot on this team, though you can forgo a dedicated healer and roll with Rover (Spectro) instead, who brings some healing once you’ve unlocked their Resonance Chain 4. Ciaccona and Rover together can equal Phoebe’s Spectro Frazzle infliction.
