Wuthering Waves – Iuno build and materials guide

Prove your defiance to fate with the best Wuthering Waves Iuno build. A 5-Star Resonator, this priestess deals Aero DMG and wields Gauntlets in combat. Iuno specializes in amplifying and healing her allies, fitting into the Sub DPS and Support archetypes.

Her kit revolves around entering the Lunar Cycle state, which unlocks her main abilities. Iuno can enter Lunar Cycle by casting Resonance Skill or Resonance Liberation. Both abilities will restore Sentience, her unique resource. Lunar Cycle allows Iuno to hover in the air, replacing her jump with a Heavy Attack that enables her to switch between two different modes.

The default mode is Half Moon, which enables attacks using the Moonring that deal Aero DMG counting as Resonance Liberation DMG and restore Sentience. 

The second mode is New Moon, allowing Iuno to attack with the Moonbow, dealing Aero DMG counting as Resonance Liberation DMG. In this state, she can consume Sentience to increase the damage of Basic Attack, Resonance Skill, and Dodge Counter, heal allies, and restore more Concerto Energy.

When Iuno’s own Concerto Energy is full, her Heavy Attack gets replaced by Absolute Fullness, which ends the Lunar Cycle, deals Aero DMG counting as Resonance Liberation DMG, and summons the Full Moon domain at her location. Characters inside the domain restore HP and Stamina, while gaining a shield in its vicinity grants one stack of the Blessing of the Wan Light buff, which enhances the Resonator’s damage from all sources and can stack up to ten times.

Naturally, this gives Iuno strong synergy with shield-generating characters and increases her own damage output, as one of her Inherent Skills gives her the ability to shield herself during combat. Additionally, her Outro Skill amplifies the incoming Resonator’s Heavy Attack DMG.

Iuno’s signature Gauntlet, Moongazer’s Sigil, provides a strong boost to her personal damage. It contributes CRIT Rate, ATK, and Resonance Liberation DMG. In addition, the weapon enables Resonance Liberation DMG to partially ignore the target’s DEF after the wearer obtains a shield. This buff can stack up to five times and reaches maximum level automatically after casting an Intro Skill.

Best Iuno Echoes – Wuthering Waves

Similar to Augusta, Iuno greatly benefits from the Crown of Valor Sonata Effect, which grants a stackable bonus to ATK and CRIT DMG when the wearer gains a shield — an easy task for her. You can complete her equipment by adding two Echoes from one of the available Aero sets for extra Aero DMG. Lady of the Sea is the ideal Main Echo for Iuno, dealing Aero DMG and buffing the wielder’s Aero DMG and Resonance Liberation DMG.

Best Iuno teams – Wuthering Waves

Iuno is an excellent Sub DPS for characters capable of creating shields for themselves, but can generally adapt to several types of compositions.

• Augusta (Main DPS), Iuno (Sub DPS), Shorekeeper (Support)

Iuno is the best companion for Augusta, since Septimont’s Ephor can easily maximize the buffs of the Full Moon domain and greatly benefits from Iuno’s Heavy Attack DMG Amplification. The additional healing she provides is another plus. Shorekeeper or Verina are the usual suspects to complete the team.

• Iuno (Main DPS), Ciaccona (Sub DPS), Shorekeeper (Support)

It’s certainly possible to make Iuno the main star of the show, however, by providing her with her own Sub DPS in the form of Ciaccona or Jianxin, who bolster her own damage output.

Once Iuno has joined your team, you’ll want to level her up as quickly as possible, for which you’ll require the following materials:

Polygon Core is a common material dropped by the Tacet Discords roaming Rinascita. Abyssal Husk can only be obtained from challenging the Lady of the Sea. Silverglow Bloom grows on Septimont’s Sanguis Plateau. The best source of Shell Credits is the Simulation Challenge you can tackle at the Training Grounds in large cities.
