How to customize Belle and Wise in ZZZ 2.0

There is a lot of brand-new stuff to discover in Version 2.0 of Zenless Zone Zero and one of the additions is a customization system for Belle and Wise, the story’s twin protagonists. It doesn’t allow for base level modifications, of course — the Proxies will retain their hairstyles, coloring, and so on.

However, you can completely change their outfits and add accessories in three different slots, mixing things up in subtle and not-so-subtle ways.

ZZZ 2.0 – How to customize Belle and Wise

The customization system for the siblings will be unlocked once you’ve claimed their free skins in Version 2.0. This is fairly straightforward, as all you have to do is follow the main story of the update.

You can swap the outfits Belle and Wise wear by entering the menu you use for changing the time of day or switching your current character for exploration — it’s located in the top-left and can be reached with ‘T’ as a shortcut on PC.

It’s noteworthy that Belle and Wise’s original outfits do not support customization at the moment, but their new Suibian Temple outfits come with several options of headwear and accessories for the clothes.

These can be subtle pieces like pins or earrings, but also real show stealers like a large panda hat. You can combine up to three accessories at once, though they’ll need to be from different categories to fit together. Currently, the available categories allow for head, body, and back customization.

Obviously, you’ll only have a limited amount of accessories to start with, but this seems like a system ripe for expansion down the line — accessories might appear as future event rewards, for example.
