Among Us gets Paimon skin in Genshin Impact collaboration
By Marco Wutz

The previously teased collaboration between Among Us and Genshin Impact has been officially announced. Starting on September 10, 2025, everyone logging into Among Us will be rewarded with a free Paimon Wig, Paimon Costume, and Crest of the Best Travel Companion Nameplate. Players have until October 10, 2025, to grab these items.
The partnership between Innersloth and HoYoverse looks to be a bit one-sided, however, as the players of Genshin Impact will not receive anything in return. For HoYoverse, the move appears to be mostly about marketing the upcoming Genshin Impact update Luna I to players outside of its usual community. While official promo material lists the opportunity to get a free character in the new update, this has nothing to do with the collaboration — it’s part of the game’s previously announced anniversary festivities.
As reported when the initial teaser was spotted, the chances of an in-game collaboration on the side of Genshin Impact were miniscule anyway, since the developers are trying to keep the lore and world-building of the open-world RPG consistent. Some suspicious astronauts popping up all of a sudden might throw a bit of a wrench into these plans.
In terms of any long plays, though, the collaboration might well generate some attention about the upcoming Miliastra Wonderland UGC mode in the Among Us community, which is exactly the kind of audience HoYoverse would want to attract to the platform due to its interest in more social experiences.
