Bullets sometimes deal no damage in Battlefield 6, but EA is on the case
By Marco Wutz

Let’s be real, we’ve all used issues with hit registration and whatnot as excuses for being bad shots, but there is seldom any substance to it. But if you could swear that your shots are true in Battlefield 6 and deal no damage despite being on the mark, then you might actually be right. EA confirmed seeing “rare cases where bullets may not register damage correctly when hitting enemies.”
It turns out that you’re not crazy or making excuses — you may have simply broken the game with some specific attachment combos. “Following our investigation, we found this was related to certain weapon attachment combinations,” EA explained.
A hotfix for the known cases has already been deployed, but of course there might be more of these broken weapon attachment combinations out there that EA hasn’t found yet.
BF6 celebrated a successful launch last week that remained surprisingly free of controversy, the debate around map sizes aside, so bugs like the one being currently tackled are actually the top priority for the developers, making for quick reaction times and investigations.
