Battlefield 6 open beta – start time and preload details

Fans are cautiously optimistic about Battlefield 6 following last week’s multiplayer reveal, which included the developers saying that BF6 won’t feature goofy skins and have a more consistent destruction system than its predecessor.

However, after the experience with BF2042 the community is very much on the “trust, but verify” side of sentiment — and the upcoming open beta for BF6 will be the opportunity to do just that. EA has announced two separate open beta weekends for the game and the first one is starting in just a couple of days.

BF6 beta – start times
Both beta weekends will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, so no platform will be left behind.
Weekend 1 opens its gates on August 7, 2025, at 08:00am UTC for everyone with Early Access, i.e. for those who pre-ordered the Phantom Edition. EA Play Pro subscribers and anyone signed up for the Battlefield Labs tests will get access at this point as well.
