Announced earlier this year, the revival of Blue Protocol is set to come to fruition on October 9, 2025, with the release of Blue Protocol: Star Resonance on PC, iOS, and Android

Born from the ashes of the Bandai Namco MMORPG that was originally supposed to come to the West with Amazon Games as a publisher, BPSR is set to offer an anime-style MMORPG experience with open-world exploration, dynamic combat, and deep class customization.

BPSR will support crossplay and cross-platform progression, enabling players to dive into the adventure on the go and at home on the same account.

A recent closed beta test attracted more than 29,000 players, showing that the recipe’s draw is very much intact despite the original game flopping in Japan.

Publisher A Plus Japan teamed up with Crunchyroll for a launch promotion of the game: Anyone with a Crunchyroll membership will be able to claim exclusive in-game rewards, including frames for their avatar and skins for their mounts.
